During the Space Shuttle program, 135 flights were made. The total time of all missions was 1,330 days, 18 hours, 9 minutes and 44 seconds. The Space Shuttle with the biggest number of flights was Discovery, the third of five shuttles built. Its first mission flew from August 30th to September 5th, 1984. Over 27 years of service, it launched and landed 39 times and spent over 364 days (almost a year!) on missions.
